Lost Lions Tribe

Lost Lions Tribe

For the lost. For the rebuilding. For the lions finding their way home.

Lost Lions Tribe is a purpose-led community and lifestyle brand for adults who have been knocked down, lost their direction or become disconnected from who they truly are. We exist for people rebuilding after addiction, mental-health struggles, loneliness, grief, shame, burnout or the loss of purpose.

The beginning

Lost Lions Tribe members

Life can strip you of your confidence. It can take your direction, fracture your relationships and leave you staring at a person in the mirror you barely recognise.

You can become lost gradually. One compromise. One secret. One drink. One line. One sleepless night. One lie that becomes easier than the truth. Until one day, you realise you are no longer living. You are surviving.

Lost Lions Tribe exists for that moment — and for everything that comes afterwards. Because being lost does not mean you are weak. It does not mean you are finished. And it does not mean you must find your way back alone.

A lost lion is still a lion.

Sometimes it just needs the strength of the tribe to remember.

Our Mission

The room where you can finally put down what you have been carrying.

Where you can say the unsayable — and walk out still belonging.

Where nobody asks you to perform recovery, disguise your pain or pretend that everything is fine.

Where your scars are not treated as weaknesses.

Where your past is acknowledged but never allowed to become your entire identity.

This is not a room filled with perfect people.

It is a tribe of real people.

People who have struggled.

People who have fallen.

People who have survived.

People who are still searching for their way back.

Whatever you are carrying.

Whatever you have done.

However far from yourself you feel.

There is room for you here.

What Lost Lions Tribe is

Lost Lions Tribe began with one belief

Nobody should have to rebuild their life alone.

Every day, people who appear confident, successful and in control are fighting private battles.

Some are living with addiction. Some are carrying depression, anxiety, grief or shame. Some have survived their darkest chapter but do not know who they are without the chaos. Some are surrounded by people and still feel completely alone.

We are building a tribe for them. A community for the difficult ground between being lost and being found. A place where support does not mean being rescued — and strength does not mean remaining silent.

Through honest stories, meaningful resources, real conversations, future gatherings and purpose-led clothing, Lost Lions Tribe will bring people together and remind them of something life can make them forget:

You still have value.

You still have a future.

You still belong.

The clothing carries the message.

The community gives it life.

The tribe makes it real.

From the founder

I created the tribe I once needed.

The Journey

For much of my life, I looked capable, confident and in control. I had travelled, taught people to scuba dive, worked as a commercial diver and lived a life that appeared full from the outside. But inside, I was becoming lost.

Addiction, poor mental health and isolation gradually took me further away from myself, the people I loved and the life I knew I was capable of living. Eventually, I entered rehab carrying shame, regret, exhaustion and the painful realisation that something had to change.

Treatment did not magically fix me. Recovery did not begin and end inside a clinic. The hardest work came afterwards — learning how to live without escaping, rebuilding trust, rediscovering purpose and understanding who I was without the chaos.

That period taught me something I will never forget:

The Road Back & The Tribe

People also need connection, support, identity and somewhere they can be honest without losing their place. Lost Lions Tribe was born in that space. Not from the finish line, but from the road back.

I created it for those who look strong but are struggling quietly. For those ashamed of their past, uncertain about their future or trying to build a life they no longer want to escape from.

I do not have every answer. I am still walking this road too. But I know that a lost lion is still a lion — and sometimes it needs the strength of the tribe to remember.

Core Message

Stopping is only the beginning.

Dan Marsden

Founder, Lost Lions Tribe

Never stand alone again.
Why we exist

They go to work.

They answer messages.

They make people laugh.

They care for their families.

They walk into crowded rooms and appear completely comfortable.

But inside, they are fighting to hold themselves together.

Pain does not always announce itself. Addiction does not always look chaotic. Loneliness does not always mean being alone. And the people who seem strongest are often the ones who have become most skilled at hiding.

Lost Lions Tribe exists to break that silence. Not by forcing people to speak before they are ready. Not by pretending that a slogan can heal a life. But by building a culture where honesty is met with understanding, vulnerability is treated as courage and asking for support does not cost you your dignity.

We cannot fight every battle for one another.

But we can make sure nobody enters it feeling completely alone.

The Code of the Tribe

What we stand on when the road becomes difficult.

01Pillar 01Strength

Strength

Strength is not silence.

It is not carrying everything alone until the weight destroys you.

Strength is admitting when you are lost.

It is asking for support before pride convinces you that nobody would understand.

It is getting back up when life has put you on your knees.

It is showing up again. And again. And again.

A lion is not strong because it never falls.

Core Reflection

A lion is strong because something inside it still chooses to rise.

The space after survival

Lost Lions Tribe belongs in the space people rarely talk about. The space after the crisis. After treatment. After the apology. After the relationship ends. After you remove the substance, behaviour or chaos that once consumed your life. After everyone congratulates you and assumes the difficult part must be over.

That is often when a different kind of loneliness begins.

We may not have every answer. But as a tribe, we can ask those questions honestly. We can share what has helped. We can support one another through the uncertain ground. We can turn lived experience into something that helps the next person feel less alone.

  • Who are you now?
  • What do you do with the silence?
  • How do you rebuild relationships?
  • How do you forgive yourself?
  • How do you find purpose after spending years simply trying to survive?

That is how a community makes a difference.

One honest story.

One real conversation.

One lost lion brought back towards the tribe.

What we are building

A place for adults from every background who have struggled, survived or supported someone they love through a difficult season. Lost Lions Tribe is at the beginning, but the vision is clear.

01

Honest stories

Real stories about addiction, mental health, loneliness, grief, identity, recovery and rebuilding. Not polished success stories that skip the difficult parts. Stories that tell the truth. Stories that make someone reading at 2 a.m. feel less alone.

02

Meaningful resources

Thoughtful articles, films, conversations and practical tools that help people understand what they are experiencing and consider their next step. Not medical treatment. Not empty motivation. Real encouragement grounded in honesty and lived experience.

03

A connected tribe

A welcoming community where adults from every background can share, listen and support one another without judgement or performance. A place where people can arrive unfinished and still belong.

04

Real-world connection

Future walks, breakfasts, talks, workshops, community days and retreats designed to bring people out of isolation and into genuine human connection. No need to impress. No need to perform. Just real people meeting as they are.

05

Clothing that means something

Lost Lions Tribe clothing will carry more than a logo. It will carry a message. To the person wearing it: you survived, keep moving. To the person who recognises it: you are not the only one. To the person who feels completely lost: the tribe is still here.

Our promise

Lost Lions Tribe was born from truth, and truth must remain at the centre of everything we build.

We will not pretend that a community, event, partnership or impact programme exists before it does. We will not present intention as achievement. We will not use somebody's pain as decoration. And we will never promise that belonging to a community can replace therapy, medical treatment or professional support when those things are needed.

We will build carefully. Speak honestly. Listen to the tribe. Learn from mistakes. And allow trust to grow through action rather than appearance.

Lions do not need empty noise.

They need something real enough to stand behind.

Upcoming gatherings

When we gather, you'll know first.

All events
Nothing scheduled yet

We haven't held our first gathering — but it's coming.

We'd rather have an empty page than invent a calendar. When the first rooms open, the tribe gets the invitation before anyone else.

The Podcast

Long conversations. Slow truths.

Lost Lions Tribe podcast cover

The Lost Lions Tribe podcast is in the works — honest conversations about the things we used to whisper. No episodes yet. When the first one drops, the tribe hears it first.

You may be rebuilding after addiction. You may be carrying grief, anxiety, shame or loneliness. You may have lost your direction. You may be supporting someone you love while quietly struggling yourself. You may not even know what you need yet.

That is all right. You do not need to have everything worked out before you join us. You do not have to be fully healed before you deserve connection. You do not need a perfect story to have a place in this tribe.

Come as you are. Bring the truth. Take the next step with us.

The tribe is forming.

The fire is being lit.

There is a place beside it for you.

For those who disappeared inside themselves.

For those who became experts at saying, “I’m fine.”

For those who lost years to addiction, fear, grief, shame or survival.

For those who have fallen.

For those who have risen.

For those who have risen and fallen again.

For those learning that asking for support is not weakness.

For those trying to rebuild a life they no longer want to escape from.

For those who need reminding that being lost is not the same as being gone.

Your past may explain some of your scars. It does not own your future.

You are not too damaged. You are not too late. You are not beyond finding.

You are still a lion.

And your tribe is waiting.

Never stand alone again.
